I want to encourage you to examine your life today. Determine the areas that need to be pruned in order to make room for God’s best. At the same Time, determine the areas of your life that God is already blessing in a mighty way. Ask yourself; what areas are bringing me true happiness? What areas are bringing me fulfillment? Am I prospering in my emotions, my relationships, and my work?
If you are going to keep your life pruned and fruitful, it means you may need to make some tough choices. It means, in some cases, you may need to learn how to say, no. You can’t try to please everyone around you and you can’t be part of every activity, even when it seems good. Learning to say ‘no’ is actually an important step in learning how to say ‘yes’ to God’s best. Follow the dream God placed in your heart.
I also want you to remember that God’s plan for you is always for good and not evil. His word say’s in Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
When He plants a dream in your heart, He wants you to water, nourish, grow and, yes, prune that dream from time to time. Surround yourself with people who will help you be the person that God wants you to be. Find friends that believe in your dream and encourage you to fulfill your God-given destiny. That may mean you need to prune some old acquaintances or even friendships with people who are dream-crushers rather than dream-builders, Remember you are not throwing something away, you are making room for God’s abundance in every area of your life.
Prepare for God’s blessings; learn to experience the purpose and joy of God’s abundant living in all areas of your life.
3 John 1: 2 says Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Remember, God wants you to be fruitful and have abundance in every area, of your life. Start making room for God’s best today.
Believing God’s best for your life,
Pastor Gary
